I am an experienced developer relations and community strategist, focusing on tech communications and product marketing since 2011.
🇪🇸 I’ve been in charge of community programs since 2014, when I worked for the software firm Autentia in Madrid -one of the top 90 companies in the country based on sales volume. To ensure the success of the new developer relations team, I organized the whole team around developer experience, advocacy and a strong community program. Regarding content I was tasked with creating technical materials like guides, resources, trainings and tutorials. I also had the opportunity to apply my journalistic skills in order to create engaging content for developers, including a YouTube channel where I interviewed known stakeholders from the software industry.
🇪🇺 Eager to explore the international landscape I moved to Amsterdam and started working at Codemotion, one of the largest series of developer conferences in EMEA. At Codemotion I led the community program strategy at a multinational and regional level. Responsible for the Northern Europe area, I worked as a developer relations with communities both online (via the Codemotion platform) and in real life, ranging from small mentorship gatherings to events with thousands of attendees.
🏛 After 6 years of experience in the private sector I decided to get to know public institutions. At the Foundation for Public Code I developed open source strategies for successful community building around public codebases. Besides my job as codebase steward for communities, I was also in charge of aspects like product marketing and event strategy.
🐳 I currently work at Docker, the #1 most wanted and #2 most loved tool for developers. As Senior Community Relations Manager I create programs for its large and vibrant community of developers.
